Resident Evil and Call of Duty are popular survival horror and F.P.S. franchises, respectively; combining both genres could produce something like F.E.A.R. or, more recently, Contain, both scheduled to hit Steam soon.
SinginGiant Studios developed and published this first-person tactical shooter game dubbed Contain. Players may opt to work cooperatively or play solo; either way, there is an organization overseeing numerous task forces trying to control objects of supernatural origin that have fallen from space – with special task forces representing particular phenomenal objects from out of this universe and managing them through task forces led by Contain. Contain can even be played solo if no squad comes together; more information on that here!
Contain offers in-depth character customization, weapons, and gear customization to craft an ideal loadout to fight evil forces. Furthermore, Contain includes explicit content warning with blood violence and strong language, making this game perfect for horror fans. Judging from gameplay trailers alone, Contain could prove quite an enjoyable experience!
Contain hasn’t quite hit store shelves yet but will become available via Steam Early Access from 16 January 2024. Ultimately, if Contain proves successful,l it should eventually make its way onto PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, offering full cross-play support.
