PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S gamers may now take action to claim a substantial refund.
Xbox and PlayStation fans who purchased The Finals skins with incorrect pricing can claim refunds due to purchasing errors.
The Finals has taken platforms by storm since its debut last November. Boasting fast-paced, skill-based gameplay with unique multiplayer modes and plenty of other incentives to download, it quickly became one of the fans’ favourites.
Xbox and PlayStation players who recently purchased an Epic weapon skin could now qualify for a partial refund due to developer Embark Studios allegedly overcharging for store items.
This particular skin belongs to the Holtow Fine Print bundle, giving your Uzi an attractive new look. When used to kill someone, this weapon prints out an invoice showing who died – further making you look bad for having got away so quickly with killing.
Initial quotes indicated 1100 Multibucks as The Finals’ in-game currency; however, this was inaccurately listed.
Embark Studios recently stated their Holtow Fine Print bundle, noting their mistake regarding “oo:! Oops folks – there was an oversight with pricing on Hollow Fine Print weapon skin! Should have been priced from the outset at 850 Multibucks.”
“Within 48 hours, we will return 250 Multibucks back to anyone who purchased this skin for 1100 Multibucks. All it requires to receive it is patient waiting.”
So, if you purchased that bundle before its price was adjusted, don’t fret; your refund should arrive soon. Granted, 250 Multibucks won’t get you far in an online store, but at least you won’t lose everything!
The Finals can be enjoyed free of charge on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms.
