Tom Clancy’s The Division is an action game that plays as a roleplaying experience developed by Massive Entertainment and published in 2016 by Ubisoft. The goal of the game is to bring order back by locating the cause of the virus.
The character of the game can carry three weapons and explosives such as sticky bombs and seeker mines to take on foes. The players can hide behind objects in firefights to protect themselves from damage by adversaries, and also to provide an advantage in the tactical engaging.
It is played from the perspective of a third person, which means that the model of the character is visible. Players progress as they accumulate exp points (commonly also referred to as XP) as well as currency. The currency can be used to buy equipment and weapons as well as use them to develop new skills and abilities.
The gear of the player is divided into seven categories: used basic, standard premium, top-of-the-line, gear set, and the rarest and exotic items featuring a unique colour code. Equipment can be purchased or retrieved as game loot or made by combining materials.
