Need for Speed Underground – a racing arcade game The setting was inspired by the film “Fast and the Furious”. The gameplay can be described by various types of races as well as general customization.
Racers compete in the neon-filled metropolitan area that is Olympic City. An inexperienced player takes on the city’s most skilled drivers and hopes to beat the reigning king in the Underground.
There are 6 kinds of competitions within NFS Underground:
- Circles – You must complete the circle before you can finish it;
- Elimination race, the participant who is last on the course gets eliminated.
- Sprint is a race that runs from point A to point B in which you must arrive at the beginning;
- Skid – Using a drift it is necessary to earn as many points as you can;
- Drag racing: race in a straight line by a rapid changing of gears;
- Training for test drives, in which players can determine their conditions for the race.
