This technocratic indulgence, always on the leading edge, had something for everyone, even those with the most extreme appetites. It was inevitable, then, that the unique technology of this ward would create a new type of appetite.
The “Synthisters”, vampires, prey on the unsuspecting maid café connoisseurs, cosplayers, figurine chasers, and other innocents in the town. Synthisters make their victims take over their properties and withdraw from the world.
AKIBA’S TRIP is the tale of one unfortunate soul. A young man called Nanashi was tricked by the promise to receive rare goods and then transformed into an undead walking zombie. Shizuku, a mysterious Synthister Hunter, saved him from the worst by kissing his bloody lips.
Nanashi, Shizuku, and the other members of the organization “Akiba Freedom Fighters” must work together to uncover the secret behind the Synthister plague. They also have to save Akiba and its people from the violent and antisocial energy vampires.
