In the official support forum, Bungie has declared the next Destiny two upgrade. Tomorrow the servers will be offline, maintenance will be done and update 2.8.1.2 will be published. We’ve got all information regarding the downtime along with the patch.
When will the Destiny 2 servers be offline? Bungie will take the servers offline on Tuesday May 19th. Maintenance work begins around 9:00 AM PDT (1600 UTC).
How long does the maintenance work take? The downtime will be approximately 3 hours. The servers should be on line again around 12:00 AM PDT (1900 UTC).
Do we need to download patch 1.51? So far it isn’t known whether it will be a pure server update. If we must download a patch, this will probably be Patch 1.51, PS4 variant.
