‘The Mandalorian Season 3 will see the Return of a Fan Favorite Trilogy Character.
The second season of The Mandalorian aired in October 2020. It was a long time ago, I admit it. Doesn’t time fly?
Both Mando and Grogu appeared on our screens this year’s The Book of Boba Fett, which helped bridge the gap and set up The Mandalorian in its third season. Star Wars celebration announced that it will return in February 2023, and this season will see Mando travel back to Mandalore.
We are thrilled to see our favorite space dad and his cute green son back on our screens. But another Star Wars fan-favorite is also making a comeback… Babu Frik. The adorable and hilarious droidsmith first returned in 2019’s Star Wars, where he helped C-3PO extract a Sith message.
Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni confirmed the news during The Mandalorian Star Wars Celebration panel. A small portion of exclusive footage was also shown to attendees. Grog Frik and Babu Frik should meet. I want to know what happens when these tiny Star Wars kings meet face-to-face.
This announcement is only one of many made at the annual Star Wars fan convention. Respawn Entertainment also revealed the first trailer for Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
