Leon’s jacket can be purchased from the ‘Resident Evil 4 Remake Trailer
June looks set to be a big month for announcements in gaming. Sony launched the State of Play showcase just a few days back, where Capcom revealed their upcoming remake of 2005’s Resident Evil4.
As the developers tease, the remake won’t be identical to the original. However, there are a few links to Resident Evil village in the trailer that could possibly play into the reimagined elements. Fans with keen eyes also noticed a copyright disclaimer on Leon’s jacket in the trailer.
That’s right. The trailer shows Leon, the protagonist, wearing a bomber jacket. Twitter user JetSetHan noticed an unusual disclaimer at the garment’s end. The disclaimer reads: “Leon’s brown sheepskin lambskin leather bomber jacket appeared with permission from Schott NYC.”
The PC Gamer folks have done some research and found a similar jacket on Schott NYC’s website. This means that you can own Leon’s cool jacket. The only problem is the price.
Leon’s bomber jacket, which the website calls “the classic WWII sheepskin ‘Bomber jacket'”, will set you back $1495 (PS1197). Leon, a federal agent, would likely have a comfortable income so I think he is entitled to a boujee coat. He also needs a durable garment to withstand the many sticky situations he may find himself in.
The Schott NYC website lists a jacket that matches the one in the trailer. It has the same sheepskin lining as the back seam and is cross-shaped. It’s only a matter of time before dedicated Resident Evil fanatics start spending the money.
