Secret Wars Movies to Return To ‘Avengers Endgame’ Director
While I enjoy the Marvel Cinematic universe’s phase four lineup, it feels like Marvel is experiencing a mid-life crisis. We have met tons of new characters in Phase 4, especially standout hits like Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight.
The problem is that Marvel wants to maintain the momentum of The Infinity Saga’s events, but phase four has no overall goal. While there is clearly a multiverse component that runs through phase 4, we still lack a major bad. Avengers Endgame directors The Russo brothers might be able to save the day as they are looking at directing Secret Wars again.

Secret Wars, a 12-issue comic book series, saw several universes destroyed, creating Battleworld. Secret Wars is the Avengers joining forces with the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Endgame.
Endgame directors Anthony Russo and Deadline spoke recently to . They described Secret Wars as something that they are actively considering. They stated that Marvel’s love stems from the books we read as children, the books we fell in love. Secret Wars was the series we loved growing up. It is incredibly ambitious. It’d be larger than Infinity War or Endgame. It’s still a huge undertaking. These two movies were extremely difficult to make. Imagine making two more movies that are even larger than these two. “We’ll have to go to bed on that.”
Many Secret Wars villains have been introduced to the MCU’s Phase Four. Kang the Conqueror was mentioned in Loki. Titania will appear in the upcoming SheHulk: Attorney at Law. So Secret Wars may be on Marvel’s mind.
