Just In time for this evening’s beta, Infinity Ward has published the minimum and recommended system requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
In order to run Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 you will need A GTX 1060 or RX 580 graphic card is recommended, along with an i7-4770K or Ryzen 7 1800X processor with 16 GB of RAM. Those with older PCs will require a GTX 960 or RX 470 and an i5-3570 or Ryzen 5 1600X with 8GB of RAM.
However, it is unclear at what resolution or video settings those parameters have been certified for; however, considering the game’s fast-paced nature, we presume they were chosen with 60 FPS gaming in mind.
Players will also require 25 GB of disc space for the beta, the most recent version of Windows 10, and the most recent graphics drivers from Nvidia or AMD. There are also other PC-specific features. V-Sync, configurable framerate limitations, shadow caches on some GPUs, texture resolution, and FOV toggles are all supported.
Last week, influencers who had early access to a multiplayer build stated that the game supported DLSS and FSR. Finally, certain accessibility features, such as color filters and bigger in-game font sizes, are available across platforms.
