Xbox Series X to Unlock PlayStation 5’s Top RPG for 2016
One of 2023’s most highly anticipated releases will make its way onto Xbox Series X later this year after spending its initial months of existence exclusively on PlayStation 5 and PC.
Larian Studios recently confirmed that Baldur’s Gate 3 will make its Xbox Series debut later on this year, according to reports by players eager for its arrival. So far, only PS5 and PC users were eligible for August release; now Xbox users will join in. With Dungeons & Dragons-inspired RPG set to compete for 2023 Game of the Year nomination, players have long anticipated its Xbox release date; which seems on schedule now.
“Xbox One – currently active playtesting and still on schedule for release this year,” according to Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke, with no definitive release date set yet announced by Larian Studios. In February it was reported that technical issues prevented their port from going ahead – specifically regarding issues with split screen compatibility on Series S devices.
Fans were told they could anticipate Baldur’s Gate 3 on Xbox Series between September-December; we are quickly racing through that timeline now, yet fans remain excitedly anticipatory of its release – especially considering its reputation among PlayStation exclusives as one of their highest rated titles of all time!
