Starfield recently received another update that brings much-needed PC players an essential new feature.

Starfield seems to have lost much of its buzz due to other AAA releases such as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and more.

At The Game Awards, PUBG remains unrecognized; only being nominated in one category – Best Role Playing Game. Even its avid followers were unsurprised at its lack of recognition across other categories given all the debate that occurred when its release came around.

Bethesda remains hard at work on its latest IP, Starfield. While attention may gradually shift towards The Elder Scrolls VI, updates for Starfield continue to come along regularly bringing with them additional features and DLC expansions.

Recent additions to the game for PC users include new graphics options to make exploring space significantly less strenuous on their eyes.

Bethesda revealed some of the updates’ key features, noting they “introduce Nvidia DLSS support for our PC players. ”

Compatible Nvidia graphic cards now support Deep Learning Anti-aliasing (DLAA), Nvidia Reflex Low Latency, and DLSS Frame Generation… However, please keep in mind that for maximum benefit from VSync toggling Off while the latter option is active; we are working towards automatically adapting this setting in future updates.”

PC users will likely enjoy Bethesda’s latest update for Starfield on Steam, however it seems insufficient to maintain player interest among most gamers. According to recent stats, Starfield now averages less players on average compared to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Steam; although Skyrim may continue its impressive player numbers regardless of Starfield being considered an important successor IP for Bethesda.

However, more is on its way in terms of DLC expansions and mod support which should arrive sometime early next year.

Starfield is currently available on Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms and through Xbox Game Pass subscription services.
