Far Cry 3 features an outstanding Unreal Engine 5 remake
Far Cry 3 fans want one thing above all else: an updated remake using Unreal Engine 5 technology. Unfortunately, Ubisoft shows no indications of modernizing their classic yet. One YouTuber gave us a sneak peak into what such an update may look like though.
Published back in 2012, Far Cry 3 marked the third main installment in the Far Cry series and introduced us to Vaas Montenegro; an antagonist who often makes top antagonist lists in gaming history. Since Far Cry 3, three more main instalments and four spin off entries have joined this franchise while fans continue calling out for remakes of this title.
TeaserPlay, who possesses expert Unreal Engine 5 skills, has managed to craft an amazing Far Cry 3 remake concept trailer, giving us a look at modern day Rook Islands and Vaas’ appearance – stunning seas, lush jungles and breathtaking blue skies are among its features; Rook Islands have never looked better while Vaas looks even more intimidating in his hyper-realistic avatar – something only Unreal Engine could bring out in full glory. We can only speculate how terrifying Unreal Engine’s version would make him more intimidating yet.
Far Cry 3 has garnered calls for remake in recent years due to being widely considered the pinnacle of its franchise. Today, this open-world adventure game stands as an outstanding piece with thrilling gameplay, an intense plotline and breathtaking environments hailed as outstanding masterpieces by critics and gamers alike.
TeaserPlay’s YouTuber TeaserPlay has not limited themselves to modernizing Far Cry 3, either; their creator also released a concept trailer for Far Cry 2. Additionally, they revamped Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas as well as creating an open world John Wick concept trailer, therefore contributing directly to increasing demand for remakes of classic games.
