Well, this news came as quite an unpleasant surprise – Steam recently delisted an iconic game despite receiving “very positive” reviews, in what will likely prove disappointing to many players.

Before I dive in to what’s happening on Steam right now, allow me to bring you up-to-speed with what’s been happening recently. Controversial shooter Six Days in Fallujah will soon release after an 18 year wait, or alternatively you could look into a 2017 turn-based tactical gem currently free to download for a limited time – either way it was recently announced that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart would soon make its way over from PlayStation 5. Also expected soon would be Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart from PlayStation 5, while future Assassin’s Creed Mirage won’t appear here; instead it must be found elsewhere PC storefronts; now let’s return to an underlisted classic title…

As reported by ComicBook, Telltale Games released Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People: Season 1 in 2008. In this five-episode graphic adventure players assume control of Strong Bad from Homestar Runner using point and click mechanics and interact with characters before competing against one another in arcade-style minigames.

Strong Bad boasts an impressive score of 76 on Metacritic. N-Europe praised Strong Bad for providing “bucketloads of laughter, an engaging yet relatively challenging gameplay experience, plenty of references for long time fans, and overall being fun game to play,” while Eurogamer went further and described Strong Bad as humorous, varied and just the right length for episodic gaming experience.

Reluctant to see their game be delisted, Telltale announced they no longer held IP rights to Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People; thus preventing new sales of this series of PC digital storefront games.” They released an announcement, noting: “Unfortunately we can no longer support Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People as no longer having rights over this IP and selling or supporting game series; therefore you may still download all episodes through PC digital stores where purchased this series; nevertheless it marks an end to an era.” It really was something truly epic, as was Strong Bad’s last lineage in full color! Its departure marks an era… It marks an end.
