Cyberpunk 2077 and Metroid meet for an epic Unreal Engine 5 journey!
GTA fans, we know you love Grand Theft Auto (GTA), but sometimes a change of scene may be what’s necessary – an Unreal Engine 5 adventure may provide exactly the challenge and excitement needed!
Imagine this: Cyberpunk 2077 with Metroid undertones and Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse-esque graphics. Quantic River looks incredible; like an animated piece of art. Would we expect anything less from Unreal Engine? Perhaps, but given how stunningly good-looking Quantic River looks we must give more praise!
Steam’s Quantic River follows a protagonist living in an “exciting cyberpunk world”, exploring dystopian urban landscapes while improving themselves through adaptive upgrades to survive in this “vibrant cyberpunk world”. Dozens of enemies lie in wait; you need an effective weapon such as a Katana to cut your path through enemies with precision!
Once you’ve experienced Cyberpunk 2077’s romance scenes, Quantic River will give you the freedom to experience life again in its fast lane – in a brand-new world filled with similar environments but unlike Cyberpunk.
At present, this indie action title appears destined exclusively for PC, although we cannot speak as to its success upon launch. According to its Steam page there’s no specific release date indicated – instead the words “to be announced” fill that gap.
Though this may be frustrating, it offers ample opportunity for honing your sword skills – we don’t know whether or not space pirates await in this postmodern sci-fi; nonetheless you will likely face off against someone in this city battleground!
