An Insomniac leak revealed key cast and characters for Wolverine: Origins in an exclusive video posted to their official Instagram page.
Marvel’s Wolverine had long remained under wraps – until Insomniac leaked most details about its video game development process and cast members who will feature. While development on the title is ongoing, we now know who all will make an appearance here and should therefore avoid spoilers at all costs!
Fans can view Logan’s full cast in various places online, like Gaming Leaks subreddit. There will be numerous characters included in his first major video game since, yet here are those taking up major roles:
Liam McIntyre portrays Wolverine/Logan alongside Kelly Hu as Tyger Tiger and Nicole Pacent as Mystique for this role, Debra Wilson plays Callisto whil Raphael Korkhill takes up Omega Red; Brett Gipson as Sabretooth while Troy Baker stars as Mr Sinister.
Krizia Bajos as Jean Grey
Jean Grey will likely come as an amazing surprise in Marvel’s Wolverine as one of the best-known X-Men characters, making her presence all the more intriguing as playable character No 2. When this game releases in March or April she should provide fans with variety when this title debuts!
Insomniac will use Wolverine as a springboard, working simultaneously on an X-Men game afterward – possibly by 2030 with similar mechanics for Logan and Jean as found in Wolverine.
Given the nature of these leaks, there’s little doubt that all this will take place and that no action can be taken now to halt it. Some fluff may be cut back while a couple characters could potentially go; we just have to wait and see the outcome – though Sabretooth and Mystique should remain part of a mainstream Wolverine story, at any rate!
Prior to Marvel’s Wolverine being unveiled as its own franchise game, Wolverine hadn’t had his own solo game since appearing as part of X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie tie-in tie-in title X-Men Origins: Wolverine; however he appeared occasionally in team titles like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.
