Now available for playable enjoyment is Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty and fans have expressed great enthusiasm about its release.
Cyberpunk 2077’s expansive Phantom Liberty expansion is now available early for select gamers, and initial reviews have been very favorable.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is an exciting paid expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 that brings with it many improvements – not least of all an all new story and area to explore, along with overhauls to almost every aspect of its base game.
Back in June, I tried out Phantom Liberty first hand and was extremely impressed. “Phantom Liberty looks set to provide Cyberpunk 2077 with its crowning moment.” As such, my conclusion then read as:
“Cyberpunk 2077’s massive expansion promises to deliver thrilling stories and adventures, and I can’t wait to discover all of them again! If what I experienced as part of its opening hour is any indication, Cyberpunk 2077 could end its run strong – who ever could have predicted such an outcome?”
Phantom Liberty’s current tour offers players more chances to test it. There will be special stops scheduled in various cities around the globe and newcomers have an extended chance to try this innovative game for themselves.
Last week’s inaugural leg of our tour kicked off in Warsaw and initial social media feedback is already promising.
Phantom Liberty stands out as being massive and surpasses anything one could expect from DLC content, boasting improved AI, graphics reworked to fit with modern standards, as well as much-improved balance overall. Many have given praise for Dogtown; its opening up new avenues within Night City for fans to discover.
Phantom Liberty also feels much more alive compared to Cyberpunk 2077 at launch, particularly for console users. At launch on consoles at least, Cyberpunk 2077 felt lifeless; NPCs with overly-cutesy character models in what should have been an epic metropolitan setting were too often reminders that you were playing a video game – not so in Phantom Liberty!
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will hit shelves on 26 September and may never give RPG fans any respite again! Between this, Starfield, and Baldur’s Gate 3, fans might never experience peace again!
