Hogwarts Legacy may have gone without recognition at The Game Awards this year, but that does not equate to it having no fans.

Hogwarts Legacy and Starfield stand out among this year’s “unsung” titles; Hogwarts Legacy being particularly notable as two. But competition among titles is intense – Hogwarts Legacy already provides solid foundations, yet more development could certainly occur to populate its relatively empty and repetitive open world – perhaps through sequel development? Either way, fans have rallied together in appreciation to thank developers for so beautifully recreating childhood magic through these titles despite not receiving awards themselves.

Reddit user secure-nail-4098 initiated the dialogue by writing, “Honestly, [I] just want to thank Avalanche. When watching Harry Potter as a child and at night when it came time for bedtime I would always imagine myself inside that magical world and imagine playing an open world game based on its universe; thanks for creating that game!” Multiple other players shared similar sentiments – many others even more so!

User kurookei commented, “Yes! This game! I am so appreciative for how well they recreated the magic and atmosphere of Hogsmeade and Hogwarts, giving so much joy,” while user geraltze stated that, “Hogwarts is our home – always.”

MindlessRadio shared, “Yes! A huge thanks goes out to them for giving us another taste of magic. I hope every person involved with creating this game feels proud about what they accomplished – awards may not always be appropriate measures of praise; happy fans certainly are!”
